Definition of Euchlorene
Eu*chlo"rine (?), n. [Cf. F.
euchlorine. See Euchloric.] (Chem.) A
yellow or greenish yellow gas, first prepared by Davy, evolved from
potassium chlorate and hydrochloric acid. It is supposed to consist
of chlorine tetroxide with some free chlorine.
