Eu"clase (?) n. [Gr. &?; well, easily +
&?; to break. Cf. F. euclase, G. euklas. See named
from its brittleness.] (Min.) A brittle gem occurring in
light green, transparent crystals, affording a brilliant
clinodiagonal cleavage. It is a silicate of alumina and
glucina.
