War"ish (?), v. t. [OF. warir to protect, heal, cure, F. guéri&?; to cure; of Teutonic origin; cf. OHG. werian, weren, to protect, to hinder. See Garret.] To protect from the effects of; hence, to cure; to heal. [Obs.]
